New Principal at Will Rogers
Cindy Largent-Williams is the new interim principal at Will Rogers College Middle and High School. Nikki Dennis, former principal, resigned her position at the school to fulfill a new role at the Tulsa Education Service Center.
A Tulsa Public Schools graduate, Cindy attended Northeastern State University where she earned a BA degree in Secondary English Education. She returned to the high school from which she graduated, Edison Preparatory School, and taught English for the next ten years. During that time, Cindy earned her MA in Secondary Educational Administration. Cindy became the Middle School Dean at Rogers in 2017. Since that time, she has served as Assistant Principal and now Acting Principal. As the mother of three elementary school children, Cindy said she is a proud Tulsa Public Schools parent along-side her husband who is also a Tulsa Public School employee. She added that she is “excited to continue to make a difference in students’ learning by working closely with teachers and the school community and serving her fellow Tulsans as a public school leader.”
